Happy Birthday, Dada!

Dear Dada,

Happy Birthday! I love you so much.  I love you so much that your name was my first word! You are so funny and make me laugh, especially when you turn me upside down and tickle me. Thank you for always being a good jungle gym. I really like climbing all over you and playing with you.

 I love when you read to me, especially Daddy Cuddles! You do a very funny Barnyard Dance too!

 You are the best cook, Dada! You make such a good dinner for me and Mama every night. You would probably never have guessed but the way that I show that I like your cooking is by throwing my food on the floor. That also helps me share with my brother, Mueller. I like your food a lot!

You make Mama SO happy too! Sometimes she gets stressed out, but you and I always know how to make her smile.

I can't imagine a better Dada. I hope you have a great birthday. Sorry I didn't sleep past 6:15am- I forgot today was your birthday. Thank you for being patient with me when I forget or I don't reason or when I don't understand English. I'm still learning, but you are the best teacher!

I know that my husband, brothers, and brothers-in-law will hate me for this post, but it's time again to figure out who Chase looks like. I've dug up some old (and hilarious) pictures of us as kids to compare to Chase and took a "vintage" picture of Chase with using a new app and with a facial expression that is close to ours in these pics. Chase's Birthday Celebration

We had a fabulous birthday party for Chase. We were so thrilled to be in the new house, which was big enough to hold all of the family and friends we wanted to celebrate this milestone with on a rainy day. While I would have liked to done more with decorations and food, I think a new house sufficiently qualifies us as "going all out."

Thanks to everyone for a great celebration! We had a wonderful time and Chase had so much fun with all of his friends and with all of the awesome presents he got. He's still working on thank you cards, but wanted me to tell everyone that he is so appreciative of all of the great gifts!
