Getting into everything: dog food, dog water, cabinets, climbing under the table, squeezing into small spaces and crying when he gets stuck, climbing the stairs, and crawling off with a little laugh
Saying "Da" for dog and always looking for Mueller. He also looks for Chase and once said "Chay-ay" the way Carol calls Chase.
Growing- Brice is almost into 12-18 months clothes, which would be fine if it were warmer! Chase's clothes in that size are all for the summer. We're holding out hope that it warms up soon. Brice is also getting heavy and his face is rounding out. The boy loves is solid food.
Eating baby food, yogurt, pasta, shredded cheese, cheese sticks, bananas, some sliced/diced fruit, toast and drinking water from a sippy cup.
Doing lots of new things:
-Clapping his hands "hooray!" whenever we say hooray
-Putting his arms up to "so big!" when we ask "How big is Bricey?"
-Blowing kisses. His kisses are especially cute because he puts his hand over his mouth and makes kissing noises.
Cruising and walking when pushing his walker. He's definitely getting closer to walking, but I think he still would rather crawl because he's so good at it. We're trying to encourage him to walk more and Brice is getting more interested in it.
So silly! Brice is funny and laughs when we laugh. He laughs when Chase cries (which is more often than we'd like!). He loves peek-a-boo and belly laughs when we play. He also loves having is belly tickled.
Playing with his brother...sorta. Brice stands at the train table next to Chase and they both play with cars. Brice knows how to put the car on the track toy and watches is spin down. He loves watching Chase and trying to do what Chase is doing. Of course Chase doesn't have too much patience for his brother, but he is happy that his little brother is doing what he's doing.
Falling asleep on his own- Brice holds his own bottle and then cannot really get comfortable in our arms. So we put him in his crib and he gets comfy and goes to sleep! Carol doesn't even rock him- she just puts him in his crib and he goes to sleep. He's also sleeping 11 hours a night-- from 8:15pm to 7:15am.
Brice is still such as sweet, silly boy. He doesn't have time to cuddle much anymore, but he does throw himself into my arms often. Then it's off to play/explore again. Although I hate that time is passing so quickly, it's exciting to watch Brice grow and learn. We're looking forward to his 11th month!
